Just sitting here thinking…

I just kind of recalled every person I’ve been emotionally connected to, and what I’ve noticed is that I attract the type of people who AREN’T independent somehow.

Everyone seems to think of me as strong, independent, and confident. I don’t want to say I am COMPLETELY, but you have to pull yourself straight back into reality and realize, nobody gives a FUCK about you if you don’t give a FUCK about YOURSELF!

I know you have your issues, everyone has issues, but to depend on me for every tiny crack in your life? No. I’m not your fucking mom. I’m not going to baby you and tell you it’s okay, because if I do, you will relapse back into the same damn situation again. I will tell you exactly how you messed up and make you feel bad about it until my words don’t even phase you. If you aren’t going to accept your faults, or try to mend your faults as best you can, why should I bother with you? You have nothing to offer to me if you cannot hold your own.

In a relationship, of any kind, I need someone who is independent emotionally/personally. There are times when you can drop that security and depend on me, I’d definitely be there to help you out and pull you through however I can.

You’re a grown person. You’re on your own as far as anyone else is concerned. I will never depend on you for anything unless I can see that you can depend on YOURSELF first. Even if I do come to you, chances are I won’t have to depend on you unless the situation is extreme.

You can be an emotional wreck and still be strong as long as you at least TRY your hardest to pull yourself out of the rut. If you don’t, and you see me in your path, I will walk and not think twice about you suffering in your own troubles…
